Following the adverse weather conditions, if your vehicle has been damaged by rain, please note the following:

Critical documents to have

  • Your Takaful insurance Certificate terms to confirm what type of coverage you have and what protections are included and what are the exclusions in your policy.
  • Police Report of the rain damage to your car which you can get by visiting the traffic department website and following their instructions.

Recovery services

  • Please call 600 575751 and provide your Watania Takaful Certificate Number to organize the recovery service.
  • This service allows for the car to be recovered from the place where the incident took place to the nearest workshop as mentioned in your Takaful Certificate cover.

Making a claim

  • Email a copy of Police Report, both sides of your car’s Registration Card and your Driver’s License to motorclaims@watania.ae
  • Watania will register the claim and notify you of the claim number for future reference.

Repair services

  • Please select one of the repair facilities that are the nearest to you. List of workshops.
  • The repairer will promptly share an estimate with Watania after conducting their assessment of the damage that occurred.

Damage assessment and claim outcome

  • Upon receiving the repairs’ cost estimate, Watania will also assess the damage and update you regarding the next steps within 3 days.
  • Watania will decide if your car can be repaired or if it should be declared as Total Loss based on the repair amount as estimated by our team and the guidelines in the Unified Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy Against Loss and Damage issued following the Regulation on Unified Motor Vehicle Insurance Policies from the Insurance Authority.

Home Takaful Services
For Emergency Home Assistance Services, please call 800-09730733 (T&Cs apply)

Home Assistance Services can be utilized by the Insured up to a maximum of 3 times in a single policy year. For each use of the Home Assistance Services, Watania Takaful will cover the cost of the call-out, labor and materials which are necessary for the emergency repair (plumbing, electrical, locksmith, and glazing) in accordance with the individual Policy terms and conditions.

To book Airport Drop Off Services, please call 800035702829 (T&Cs apply)

Drop off to the airport is available from any chosen location within the UAE and the drop off shall be within the same city of residence. Therefore, if the request is from Abu Dhabi, then the drop off airport will be Abu Dhabi International Airport. The cover is available 24/7 and must be booked 48 hours in advance by the policyholder who must be travelling.
